About the Course
This 3-day masterclass is designed to guide participants through the fundamentals of building a career within the United Nations. Day 1 introduces the UN system, its structure, agencies, and key career pathways, including internships, UN Volunteer programs, and entry-level positions. Day 2 focuses on application essentials, teaching participants how to craft compelling CVs and cover letters, strengthen their personal brand, and prepare for UN-specific recruitment processes. Day 3 prepares participants for interviews and professional growth, covering competency-based and panel interviews, career planning, and strategies to successfully navigate international opportunities. By the end of the masterclass, participants will have the knowledge, tools, and confidence to take their first steps toward a UN career.

Genia Ntumba is a UN Volunteer (UNV) Consultant and UN Youth Advocate with extensive expertise in international education and career development. She holds an MBA in Information Systems and has guided students and young professionals in navigating global opportunities, including internships, UN programs, and entry-level international roles.
